My Self Defence is the UK’s premier reality corporate self defence based mobile training company.

Everyone is welcome regardless of age, sex or physical ability because we wholeheartedly believe everyone has the right to self protection and should be able to live there lives free from intimidation.

We are based in Shropshire but have a national network of highly experienced CRB checked Instructors headed by Shane Oliver. This enables us to cover all areas of the UK in the most cost effective way to the client.

Our founder Shane Oliver has been involved with martial arts and self protection for many years.

Shane Oliver is a registered self protection and martial arts instructor with the British Combat Association. He holds a 4th Dan in applied jujitsu under professor trevor roberts, 4th Dan black belt with the British Combat Association,3rd Dan black belt in jujitsu with the World Jujitsu Federation and a 1st Dan black belt in Judo. He is highly trained in Russian Systema and for many years has been involved in security and armed forces training.
Shane Oliver has 10 years experience in door security and has 15 years martial arts experience. He has an enhanced CRB and is fully insured. He is qualified in first aid, has 8 years experience in teaching children martial arts and self defence and also runs several self defence and martial arts clubs. He founded myselfdefence and jujitsu academy and is constantly seeking more ways of furthering his own knowledge of self protection. Shane is included in the register of self protection instructors and is also a qualified tae-bo instructor.

Courses can take place either at a venue of your choice or at our base in Shropshire.
